I know… really original name. 🙂 But that’s basically what it is.

I got the original recipe from Sing for Your Supper. I added a few things. But this is extremely easy, and, better yet, it’s a one-pot meal! I love easy clean-up!

Ingredients:
One head cabbage, roughly chopped
1 pound fully cooked sausage (I used turkey sausage), sliced into bite sized pieces
4-5 red-skinned potatos (original recipe used yukon gold)
1 can diced tomatos
1 onion
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Add about 1/2 c water to the bottom of a large stockpot. Then place the sausage, then potatos, onion and tomatos, salt and pepper to taste, then cabbage into the pot.

Cook over medium high heat for about 20 minutes, or until potatos and cabbage are softened.

Check once or twice to make sure there is still water in the bottom of the pot. If it is gone, add more immediately.
