My mom used to make these for us all the time when we were younger. It used to be one of the only ways I would eat them!

I absolutely love the cheesy topping that is on these. 🙂

I’ve made these a few times before. For some reason the topping out of the saucepan was a bit thicker than usual, but it still tasted the same – really good!

Ingredients:
6 pork chops
1/2 c flour
2 T butter
2/3 c milk
1 egg, beaten
Dash of garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
2 small grated onions
1/2 c shredded parmesan or cheddar cheese (I used cheddar)

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350.

Salt and pepper the pork chops, then brown each side in a skillet. Make sure you do not cook through.

In a saucepan, melt the butter. Then turn to medium low heat and slowly add the milk and flour. Stir until the mixture thickens.

Remove from heat and add the remaining ingredients.

Place the browned pork chops in a baking dish and top each pork chop with one Tablespoon of the mixture.

Bake for 30 minutes. The topping will rise as it bakes.
